Dear Dr. Meledom,
Warm greetings.
It was a great pleasure to listen to your insightful presentation delivered on 28th December at the GMF & SDF Seminar, held at Mel Mana during our 177th meeting from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.
Your lucid exposition on the history of food safety and the fundamental right to food and life was particularly impressive. The way you traced these themes alongside developmental dynamism—while candidly addressing the inevitable confusions, contestations, and rejections faced by several advanced economies, including Japan, the European Union, and even North America—was both enlightening and thought-provoking.
When you moved on to the subject of millets and wellness, your personal testimony added exceptional authenticity and depth to the discourse. It was heartening to see this segment evoke searching questions from our Australian visitors, prompting genuine reflection and dialogue.
I convey my special greetings and heartfelt congratulations to you for an excellent presentation. Your talk has significantly strengthened the public image of GMF and SDF, including across social media platforms, positioning us as conscientious whistle-blowers and torchbearers in the vital mission of ensuring food safety for our generation and for posterity at large.
Regarding my policy paper on crop wastes, as promised, I have attached the revised version here for you to look over and publish in your digital magazine. Once published, I would appreciate it if you could kindly share a copy with me for my records.
With warm New Year greetings and best wishes,
Yours sincerely,
Dr. K. M. George
